The Cool Pack
The philosophy of Pack 71 is to create a rewarding, exciting, safe and FUN environment for boys and their parents to learn and grow within the structure of the Boy Scouts of America program. If Scouting is FUN for the BOYS and FUN for the PARENTS it will be successful. This approach has lead the Scouts to refer to Pack 71 as "The Cool Pack", a name that has caught on and spread throughout the district.
Welcome to Pack 71
The Pack meets once a month, usually on the third Thursday of the month at Covenant Presbyterian Church, our charter organization. Our program supports several community service events and pack campouts each year in addition to the normal Blue and Gold Banquet, Pinewood Derby and Award Ceremonies. In addition, the Pack conducts 4 summertime events allowing each Scout an opportunity to earn the Summertime Activity Pin.
Scouting is a great program. Every Pack and Troop is different but the aims are the same. Look around, if you don't feel great in one unit, try another. The important thing is that our boys grow into young men of character. Scouting will not let you down.
